Bukkake
Bukkake
is a group sex practice seen in pornography where a series of men take turns
to ejaculate on a kneeling woman. At the end of the process, the woman usually
drinks the semen. There are strong overtones of erotic humiliation in this
practice.
The practice is said to have originated in Japan. Bukkake is a verbal noun
in Japanese. The verb bukkakeru (to dash [water]) can be decomposed into
two verbs: butsu and kakeru. Butsu literally means to hit, but in this usage
it appears to be an intensive prefix as in buttamageru or butchigiri, Kakeru
means to shower or pour. Indeed, bukkake is more common used in Japan to
describe a type of dish where the toppings are poured on top of noodles,
as in bukkake-udon and bukkake-soba. Similarly, the sexual meaning of the
word bukkake presumably refers to the act of dashing semen on a woman's
face.
It is possible that bukkake was an ancient Japanese feudal punishment. There
is a misconception that bukkake is a recent invention of the fetish pornography
industry. In fact, much of the bukkake pornography consists of amateur home
movies made by people who enjoy the sex act on or off camera. Many women
have gone public regarding their sexual enjoyment of bukkake. Prominent
examples include Dr. Susan Block and Catherine Millet.
